A breath of fresh air in the volunteer team

Noah has now been in Tanzania since the end of July. Since his arrival, he has been eagerly gathering his first impressions at the children’s village, spending time with the children and settling into his new home for the coming year. He is currently being integrated into the team by Hannah and Alma, who will be returning to Germany at the end of their joint month. Ina, Noah’s fellow volunteer, will then travel to Tanzania after completing her studies, thus completing the volunteer duo for 2025 and 2026.

Amidst all the new experiences of the last few days, Noah took the time to write a few sentences:

I’ve now been in Tanzania for about two weeks and am gradually getting used to daily life here. I feel very welcome, especially at the Orphans Home, and truly appreciate the peaceful atmosphere. After completing my intensive Swahili language course, I’m looking forward to putting my new language skills into practice and becoming even more immersed in life here. I really enjoy the lively and joyful work with the children at the village, and I’m already looking forward to the weeks ahead with great enthusiasm.

Best regards!
